United Parcel Service is an American company focused on overnight deliveries and logistics. The company serves over 7 million clients in 220 countries, while the number of orders processed by United Parcel Service is about 5.5 billion a year. In 2016, the company’s sales and profit were $61 and $10 billion, respectively.
 
 The company was founded in 1907 by James Casey and Claude Ryan as a courier firm named American Messenger Company. The initial capital was $100 and most deliveries at that time were made on foot and bicycles. This innovative courier firm eventually transformed into today's successful United Parcel Service.
