Johnson & Johnson produces healthcare and hygiene products, as well as pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. The holding consists of 250 companies working in three areas: pharmaceuticals, consumers goods, and medical equipment. Johnson & Johnson prodcuts are sold in 175 countries. In 2017, the company made $71 billion.
 
 Its history starts with the manufacturing of surgical dressings. The first batch went successfully on sale in 1886, thereby allowing the company founders, Johnson brothers, to acquire a textile mill in 1916 and establish a subsidiary company in Canada three years later. In 1924, Johnson & Johnson extended its reach to the United Kingdom, where it soon expanded its product line by producing beauty care and feminine hygiene products.
